So you have just launched your website and ready to do some SEO to get your website kicking in some awesome TOP Page 1 rankings? Now comes the hard part, choosing the right SEO provider!

This ain't an easy task as choosing a wrong SEO company can end up into a nightmare. A nightmare as bad as having your website penalized by Google that will bury your website's rankings beyond existance which not only puts all your hard earned money down the drain but also your precious time creating that website goes to an utter waste.

I hope I didn't scare you away from SEO Search engine optimization can be fatal if done wrong by an inexperienced so-called "SEO Professional" or amateur SEO company. When done right however, the results are enlightening and opens the gates to TONS of opportunities, sales and conversions which in return will deliver a great ROI (Return on investment) as you breakeven within only a few months.

Now here comes the question I get a lot from many clients via email and live support:

"I have been dealing with many SEO companies in the past and have not received any results. What makes you guys at iLuvSEO.com any different?" - Client's Question

I must admit, that is indeed a very smart question considering the 1000's of SEO companies being launched every year with a big diversity in prices and services!

"If you are considering to hire an SEO Company, you have to see first how well they are able to rank their own website" - My Personal Advice!

If an SEO company is not able to rank their own website, I assure you that they will NEVER be able to rank yours! So the first thing you should ask any SEO company prior to working with them is: "What keywords is your SEO Company ranking for on Google?". This question might come as a slap on the face for many fake SEO providers as they will probably not rank for any keywords and end up giving you lame answers such as: "We do not share our keywords for privacy reasons" OR "We just launched and didn't have the chance to rank for any keyword yet".

Do not be fooled by SEO companies that have an attractive/breathtaking website design, afterall, you are hiring an SEO professional and not a web designer. Rankings is what you want and what you expect this company to deliver!

Here are some of many keywords we are ranking on top of page 1 for on Google:

Today, we will be talking about a great piece of software that we LOVE and would recommend to any serious webmaster out there looking to take their online business to the next level.

SEO Powersuite by Link Assistant comes with an extremely easy and fun interface and a steep learning curve. Once you master this software, you will be capable of getting an instant insight of many different aspects that will help you rank faster and smarter for all your keywords and websites which will have an excellent impact on your traffic and sales. Within a few minutes and ever fewer clicks, SEO Powersuite will provide you with a checklist covering the most important recommendations for your website that are easy to understand and amend.

Rank Tracker:

Our favorite tool in SEO Powersuite is the Rank Tracker as it helps as save tedious hours of hard work of getting all our clients' keywords tracked on a bi-weekly basis. As a big SEO firm, we track over 1,000 domains for changes on a weekly basis! With an average of 4 keywords per domain, we are talking here about 4,000 keywords tracked bi-weekly! Now let's do the math:

A manual ranking check of 5 keywords requires approximately 1 minute assuming that all keywords are located within the first 2 pages of the search results! Thus, 4,000 keywords will require 800 minutes which is over 13 hours! Imagine having this process done twice a week, this will require 26 hours of work on a weekly basis. With Rank Tracker, you will simply need to import your URL and Keywords only ONCE and with a few clicks, you will be able to get a detailed insight of how your keywords are ranking along with an analysis comparing your rankings with the past months.

What Makes Rank Tracker Special:

Rank Tracker is FAST! I have used and beta-tested 100's of different rank trackers out there and I vouch for Rank Tracker as the fastest Rank Tracker I ever used. 150 keywords getting tracked in 45 seconds is a record in rank tracking history!

Rank Tracker is ACCURATE! I have seen most rank trackers out there pass on incorrect results or even missed my rankings. This has never been the case with SEO Powersuite's Rank Tracker.

Rank Tracker has AUTO PILOT! Yes, you read it! Tell Rank Tracker to track your rankings continuously and it will have everything tracked for you on the dates and times you set.

Rank Tracker is UNLIMITED! Track unlimited URLs and Keywords without noticing any slow downs or delays.

SEO Spyglass

SEO Spyglass is another well programmed tool that is the best in the market for what it does.

Link Profiling: Before considering adding or promoting any new keywords, it is an excellent SEO practice to check your chances to rank by analysing the competition out there. Understanding what you're going up against will give you a leap ahead with a mapped out game plan!

If Google has chosen to bless your competition's backlinks, you will not need to recreate the wheel as you can simply go after those same links and add even more to dominate.
Researching Domains: Someday, you might consider paying your hard-earned money on auctioned domain or maybe even a dropped domain. It is important to investigate the types of links this domain has aquired from the first hand user as you might already know, some links are poison and have a bad effect on domains. Such caution is important especially when you go after dropped/auctioned domains!

SEO Spyglass is a great tool to review the current link portofolio coming to that website.

Advantages of SEO Spyglass:

No monthly cost or fees! You get a free 6 month Algorithm Update with your license and it will be your choice if you choose to subscribe to keep in step with these algo updates.

This software was built with love to support Windows, Mac OS X and Linux platforms.

Multi-Language support: English, German, Russian, French, Dutch, Spanish, Polish and more.

Pulls fresh and updated data from over 200 search engines and database sources worldwide.

Website Auditor

With Website Auditor you can crawl your entire website or even your competition's website to get a detailed analysis on on-page SEO to help you with your researching needs.

We strongly recommend you run Website Auditor on any new website you launch to search and fix any errors before you invest on off-page SEO.

You have no excuse to build your hose on sand when you can lay a solid and secure foundation by utilizing Website Auditor.

LinkAssistant

LinkAssistant is a powerful tool that with setting up and managing link partners by searching for high quality websites and fetching the related contact information for you. This can save you tons of tedious work.

LinkAssistant also manages all incoming emails for you that include requests from your link partners along with a tracking system that notifies you of which link partners are linking back.

Learn the best SEO Practices regarding keyword placements within your website for quick ranking boosts with only a few minutes of work.

Today we will discuss the different and most important places to have your keywords placed in. This not only makes your website rank better and faster for these keywords, but it also makes your website easier to reach by your targeted audience.

Best SEO Practices on Keyword Placement:

Number 1: Page Title

Yes, you might have already guessed that. The page title is the most important and vital part where your main keywords should be. Google and ALL major search engines give a high ranking priority to thos keywords.

You might be targeting many keywords which would make it a bad practice to have a super long title. What you should do in that case is include your main keywords within that page title.

The ideal page title length would be aroung 60 characters per the official April 2011 guidelines, which still take effect till today:

- W3C: Recommends a maximum of 64 characters.
- Yahoo: Recommends a maximum of 67 characters. (This might be obselete as of today since Yahoo Search Results are now supplied by Bing and are definitely abided by Bing's guidelines.)
- BING: Recommends a title between 5 to 65 characters.
- Google: Recommends a maximum page title length of 60 characters.

If you are promoting say 20 keywords, we would recommend either of the following solutions:

- Note the MAIN keywords that bring in the most traffic within your page title, separated by a pipe (|) and the remaining keywords within the content and <h1> title tags (explained below)
- You can create unique pages for each keyword or set of relevant keywords within your website. Not only will that give you the chance to focus on sets of keywords for each page, but in most cases it also gives a more user friendly experience where your organic (search engine) traffic land on the ideal page within your website, which results in better bounce rates, conversions and sales.

Number 2: Meta Description Tag

You should put your keywords in your description tag as well. This is an excellent SEO practice which also helps Google determine the keywords to rank your website for. In addition, it greatly improves the chances of people to visit your website if you have a clever, attractive and well written meta description.

If you are not sure what a Meta Description is and how it could bring attention to your website, take this example:

Despite the fact that the 2nd website is ranking lower, it will probably receive more recognition and clicks for the term "Buy Dog Collars" since the META DESCRIPTION is well put and servers the searcher's need pretty well. While the first website might indeed be selling Dog Collars, but the META DESCRIPTION is not written well to represent that.

Number 3: Keyword Density Within Content

Keywords should be included within your content at roughly a 1-2% keyword density. This also helps Google and major search engines know what your website is talking about, thus help you rank better for the keywords you are targeting.

Despite the importance of having your keywords included within your image "Alt" attribute, this is ignored/overseen by many professional webmasters and even SEO companies.

Having proper "Alt" attribute benefits your website by:

- Giving you a chance to have your keywords properly set within your website/content. This is important for all websites especially ecommerce websites which lack content, basically due to the limitations in most ecommerce platforms on the web.
- Gives you a better change to rank for your keywords in "Google Images", which in return could also send targeted traffic.
- If for any reason your images drop off your hosting server, the ALT tag text will show instead of the image. Having text as an alternative is definitely better than having an empty box, don't you agree?

Number 4: URL of Page

It is important to have your keywords noted within the page URL as this gives you a significant boost over your competitors who do not implement this strategy. Lets say you are promoting the keyword "Dog Collars", it should look something like this within your URL structure:

http://YourWebsite.com/dog-collars

If you are running a WordPress website, you can make your website SEO friendly by changing the Permalinks structure to show post/page titles and make sure all your posts/pages include the keyword within the URL.

Number 5: Meta Kewords Tag

Despite the fact that Google clarified that they do not take Meta Keywords into consideration with their ranking algorithms, there are 100's of search engines out there that do. While Google dominates over 80% of the searches on the web, it won't hurt to get some love from the remaining 20% out there.

That's it for today. Happy ranking and dominating everyone

Has your website been hit by Google's latest Penguin Update? Fear no more as we briefly explain how to escape the clenches and get your rankings back.

Since you are reading this article, you have most probably been hit by Google's latest Penguin Update.

Fear no more as there is a solution to recover back your rankings and put a smile back to Google's face!

Stay focused as I will explain briefly yet in all the required detail to get you out of this mess:

Step 1) Backlink Analaysis

Using Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, Open Site Explorer and Google Webmaster tools to generate a list of links pointing to your website. These tools will fetch 80-90% of your links which are more than enough to get you off that penalization.

Step 2) Manual Removal of Links

Yes, this is not fun at all! Try to email as many webmasters as possible requesting a removal of your link. Be kind, sincere and friendly and you should be getting a reply back! Usually 20-30% of webmasters reply back and do take action in removing your link and processing your request.

Step 3) Submit your First Reconsideration Request

- Explain your situation briefly.

- Provide a link to a Google Doc that has all links that have been successfully removed.

- Make it clear that you will avoid such techniques in the future.

Step 4) Reconsideration Denied? Disavow Tool to the Rescue.

Make a list of all your suspected low quality links in a CSV file

Now go to the Disavow Tool page and submit your CSV to exclude these low quality links from your link portfolio.

Step 5) Submit your Second Reconsideration Request

Again, submit a list of all the removed links via Google Docs with all tips in STEP 3.

STEP 6) Breathe Some Fresh Air

Anchor Text Diversification. How & Why?

The past couple of algorithm changes had a big impact on the anchor text optimization best strategies

I do not want any beginners reading this to get lost so I will explain what "Anchor Text" is and it's importance in today's world.

Anchor text refers to the "Word" or "Phrase" that is linked within any piece of content. 95% of the time, it will be underlined and most of the time it will be blue. So if you are writing an article and would like to have an anchor text point to your website, you will insert the following HTML code within the content: <a href=”http://www.yourwebsite.com”>Your Keyword</a>

Google caches and knows every link your website gets along with the Anchor Text that was used to link to you. Once Google starts to see you aquire many links via that Anchor Text, you will get loved back with a ranking boost.

The good old days are over when a couple of thousand of those links would get your rankings flying up as fast as Gangnam Style. Now Google is smarter and the past couple of updated frown upon such unnatural link building schemes.

Anchor Text diversity is essential if you are looking at your business seriously and want good results that would stick. If you already have a website, you must be wondering if keyword diversity is required in your case. You may consider the following process to know if you need that.

1
Get a Report for Your Backlink Profile by Anchor Text

The first step is to know the amount of links you have for each anchor text. This could have been an impossible task but thanks to some free tools, you have all this information via tools like:

Open Site Explorer

Ahrefs

Majestic SEO

Cognitive SEO

Google’s Webmaster Tools

2

Check Your Competition Backlink Profiles too.

Do the same process for a couple of your main competitors. See how many different keywords they are targeting along with the variation used for each keyword.

3
Analyze and Compare your Anchor Text Distribution.

If you were searching for solid figures or ratios on the requird keyword diversity, I am sorry but there is none. However, you can establish your own guidelines based on what you can see from your competitors.
4

Repair Any Over-Optimized Keywords or Anchor Text Variations

When it comes to repairing, you are left with 2 options:

- You can focus on removing the links with the over-optimized anchor text.
- You can focus on creating links promoting different keywords to lessen the ratio of the over-optimized keyword.

Obviously, whatever the option you choose, it is not going to be an overnight project. It will take lots of time and focused effort, but with that you will definitely see an overall natural SEO performance and a much lower chance of hitting any future search engine penalties.

Here is a quick checklist on what you need to do:

Online Businesses Are Still at Risk

In the past 26 months, the Panda and Penguin Algorithm updates have hit websites really hard. Sadly for some people, they got hit in a very bad and personal way. I have seen small and large business owners lose everything and by everything I mean their homes, cars and a lot more. I am not writing this article to judge Google in any way – Unlike many internet marketers and SEO gurus I totally understand and even support some of Google's well made decisions. I personally tend to be realistic about Google’s goals too. If I am forced to pick one side, though, I have been a small business owner at some time and as an SEO specialist I talk to many small and motivated entrepreneurs that are striving to make things work which I refuse to abandon them now. If some information can help or save you from losing everything, then that is what I want to offer.

Recover Your Rankings Back

Lost your rankings? Do not panic! We have helped 100's of website recover their rankings, so if it worked for them, it will work for you too.

Here is a quick checklist on what you need to do:

Focus on link diversity. Do not only have links coming from one source as this would raise red flags against your website. You might consider looking at SEO Packages that offer such diversity.

Build a good Anchor Text diversity. Do not focus on one or two keywords within your SEO campaigns as this also looks unnatural! Build a list of keywords or long-tails of your original keywords and start pushing links to your internal pages too. There are many online tools that will let you know what kind of anchor text diversity/ratios you have like http://www.ahrefs.com

Were you a victim of a bad SEO company sending you bad links? Did you create low quality links in the past and now regret it? Did your competition sabotage your business and send some poisonous (bad quality) links your way? No fear, the disvow tool is here. A couple of months ago, Google introduced the disvol tool which allows you to tell Google to ignore specific links or to ignore links coming from specific domains. Use this tool with caution and blacklist these bad links: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?pli=1

Offense + Defense = Victory

Do Not Put All Your Eggs in One Basket

I strongly recommend you to diversify your traffic beyond Google – if you've got over sixty percent of your customers coming from Google via organic search, you’re not safe as you are tend to loose 60% of your business on an unexpected Google Algorithm Update that might for any reason put a frown on Google's face when looking at your website. You need to analyze and think of a marketing strategy to diversify your traffic to protect yourself on the long run.

Google Controls Far Too Much, Doesn't it?

This might be a bit out there, and goes well beyond search engine optimization. Google controls as much as 85% of the internet search market. Remember that search isn't only about finding a new burger place, relaxing nearby spa or even clients finding your website. Online Search is our portal to the biggest archive of human knowledge mankind has ever made – the world wide web. Google is now controlling how we work, how we plan, how we think, and even how we play, and they’re making more than 40 billion US dollars a year doing it. Do not get me wrong, I ain't a conspiracy theorist, but I personally think we need to ask and even fight for all the transparency we can get. We have a lot to stake if we allow the algorithm to become a black box.

Let’s All Be Cautious Out There

There’s a very thin line between healthy skepticism and sick paranoia. I hope that all the cautions and lessons we learn by chasing the algorithm let you sleep a better and do the jobs you need to focus on. Keep your eyes open, stay active on webmaster forums, learn from other's mistakes and do not give up.

Guest Posting is becoming one of the best services within the Internet Marketing community. Lots of people consider guest Posting as one of the most powerful of available SEO tactics, while others disagree this viewpoint, saying that guest posting is highly misunderstood and that people are not using it correctly.

Guest blogging is, indeed, one of the most powerful ways of creating strong, high quality bonds that will help in multiple ways, including developing business opportunities and guru connections, creating a better brand value and, of course, acquiring of link juice.

There are lots of webmasters who aren't grasping the real value of guest posting as they tend to view guest posting as just another link building method. Because of this, they still with low quality content for submission to blogs that accept guest posting. Sadly, one out of ten blogs actually publishes this junk, polluting the WWW with garbage.

Let’s cut the theory part and discuss the real figures! When properly done, guest blogging can help you in many ways such as:

Build Relationships

Lots of blogs state this, but I remember when I wrote my first ever guest post. Very small amount of people tweeted it and I wasn’t able to make any good connections out of it. I was a novice at that time, and didn't play my part well.

There is another common industry phrase that states, ‘Building relationships takes time’. If I merge these two phrases, it reads something like this.

Guest blogging helps you build relationships, and since it requires time, you should be consistent in your activities.

Become An Expert by utilizing Guest Posts within your SEO strategy

Guest blogging can act as your doorway to becoming an expert in your field. The more in-depth and researched posts you publish on reputed blogs, the more and better the chances you will get to interact with people. Over time, you can become an authority in eyes of your target audience.

Brands out there searching for opportunities abroad to merge with the international market need to tweak their search engine optimization strategy and content for the international markets they are interested to enter, which can be a hassle. Depending on Google Translate to translate your content into different languages will not be enough, given the complexity of many international languages and colloquial words/phrases.

In a recent Funnel B2B marketing conference (Digital Marketing Agency, Econsultancy), a Search Engine Optimization expert gave three tips for changing websites to adapt with international markets.

1

ANALYZE

First of all, analyze the new market to check whether the product will be competitive and that your product and service would be required there. You can start with Google’s Global Market Finder Tool as detailed information can be found based on the keywords entered. The results are prioritized by opportunity on the basis of local searche volume along with the suggested bid price. This is definitely a good starting point if you are aiming for planning global expansion. That's not it, read on...

2

TEST

As soon as the new market has been identified, the next step is to translate the whole website into the local language of the targeted market. Unfortunately, this is an expensive way. You can look into a better strategy with your expansion needs and focus to run a pay-per-click (PPC) campaign (Adwords, Microsoft AdCenter, etc.) which will send traffic to a minipage, or a localised ‘landing page’. Do not depend on Google Translate for your business needs as a small mistake within your content can send clients away and even worse, cause a bad reputation.

3

TAKE ACTION

If PPC campaign from the step above shows that there is a good demand for your products/services in that local market, time to move to the third and last step, which involves building a good and lasting footprint with good quality of translated content along with SEO strategies for organic traffic from that local market. You will need to start translating your website into the local language, with SEO teams and translators working with each other to avoid any conflict or trouble.

4

RINSE AND REPEAT

Now search for more markets and expand your business' exposure to reach as many people as possible to succeed and prosper.

Our SEO Services are Multilingual.

We are able to promote websites in many other languages too. Our SEO services cover the following languages:

Within the next 2 years, companies in niches of high competition that do not have a powerful social plan will be left behind by those that do; Social signals are becoming the new “Quality Link” in terms of importance in the ranking algorithm. While we do not believe that the value of links as a ranking signal will ever completely diminish, we actually do believe that such impacts of social signals will equalify links as one of the most valuable ranking factors.

Why? There are Several Reasons:

The online world has become more social than ever. Today’s young kids are tomorrow’s customers, and they are already being mainly communicating on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and various other social networds.

People are much more prone and likely to trust a website recommended personally by real people than by a search engine.

Websites with a powerful social presence have a better chance in having higher conversion rates and brand loyalty, leading to an increase in sales, more word-of-mouth, and greater brand awareness, which leads to additional positive reviews and of course inbound links.

Matt Cutts says: “…We’re also trying to figure out a little bit about the reputation of an author or creator on Twitter or Facebook.”

Google has expanded it's reach outside the Twitter Circle and out to Facebook, Google +1 and tons of other networks.

Alright, I get it! What should I do now to increase my website’s social signals?

It is pretty similar to the SEO prospective as there are two main elements to social media: onpage and offpage. In order to have a successful social media campaign, both elements must be available.

Onpage elements include:

Share buttons (Facebook like, Twitter tweet, DIG/Reddit bookmark, etc.)

Connect buttons (Like a Facebook page, Follow on Twitter, Follow on LinkedIn, etc.)

A blog

Offpage elements include:

A Facebook page

An Active Twitter account

A LinkedIn company page

A Pinterest account

A Youtube account

A Guest blog posting

Focus on different social media platforms

1. It is not invisible: You could not put your hands on it on first sight but there are ways to see and feel movement within your rankings. A reliable SEO/SEM company should be able to identify the tasks they should be doing on a monthly basis. As a client, you should be able to see all the efforts that have been conducted which reflect directly on your rankings. Some companies say that they have a secret untapped method, you'd better avoid doing business with these guys.

2. It takes time: No matter what you do or how much budget you pour into your SEO campaigns, your rankings are NEVER going to grow over night. SEO and results take time espceciallyy if you are in a competitive niche. You will see some movement within a few weeks but those solid ranking boosts don't really don’t happen overnight. Patience is a virtue!

3. Avoid Trickery by all means: Avoid doing any shady stuff. Black hat SEO is not recommended at all, especially if you are taking your business model seriously. Remember that Google is updating it's algorithms on a regular basis, so what might pass today could lead to a red flag later on. Stay clean and it will eventually pay off.

4. PPC does not help you rankings: There is a myth regarding Google giving a better chance to people using PPC, specifically Google Adwords. This is false.

5. You need millions of links: Wrong! You need quality links from various sources. Never focus on only one link source and diversify your link building portofolio.

6. Pagerank is everything: Nope. Pagerank was an page aspect created by Google to give a webpage power which does not determine if you will rank well or not. We believe Page Rank is one of the 100's of factors Google takes into consideration within its algorithms, but as we already stated there are hundreds or literally thousands of other aspects taken into consideration.

7. Nobody is partnered with Google: If any SEO company claims that they are partnered with Google they are probably lying to get the business in through the door. Ignore such people before becoming a victim.

8. Buying homepage links is bad: Google has always frowned upon such links. If you are forced to leave a partner's link on your website, make sure you have it as a NoFollow link.

9. Google analytics gives Google too much info: Well, Who really cares if they know how many people visited your website? Does it matter?

10. SEO is one time: SEO is a long journey through the depth of the forest and over mountains! SEO is constantly moving and will never stop.
